Bears QB Fields “light years ahead”

Chicago Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy said over the weekend that young quarterback JUSTIN FIELDS is “light years ahead of where he was” a year ago. Fields, 23, rushed for aMore team-leading 1,143 yards and 8 touchdowns last season. Unfortunately for the Bears and fantasy owners, Fields also led the league with 16 fumbles and 11 interceptions, while averaging under 150 yards passing per game for a team that managed just three wins all season. Aside from hearing the positive offseason reviews, fantasy owners should be aware that Chicago has also upgraded the offense around Fields – setting the young signal-caller up for success heading into the upcoming season. Around the NFL: DJ Moore

Big trade in the NFL yesterday, with the Panthers trading away their best offensive player and picks #9, #61 (acquired by trading away their other best offensive player, Christian McCaffrey), next year's No. 1 (which should be a really good pick) and the following year's No. 2 for the No. 1 overall pick in next month's draft.
