Vikings WR Jefferson reports for minicamp

Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver JUSTIN JEFFERSON skipped the voluntary portion of the team’s offseason program but was on the field for the first day of minicamp earlier this week. JeffersonMore said that he had been training in Miami during the first portion of the offseason, but he claimed his contract status was not an issue. Jefferson added that he will report to Vikings training camp on time in July, no matter what happens with his contract. This is the first offseason Jefferson is eligible for a contract extension. Vikings wideouts missing from OTAs

The Vikings entered the second week of organized team activities and wide receivers JUSTIN JEFFERSON and JORDAN ADDISON were both absent. Jefferson is believed to be absent from the voluntary practicesMore while he awaits a new contract that would likely make him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history. Meanwhile, first-round rookie wideout Jordan Addison isn’t practicing because of an unspecified injury. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell didn’t seem concerned about Addison’s status, saying that the team is “being overly cautious with him right now”. Less

Factoid: Justin Jefferson

Adam Thielen is no longer in Minnesota. I wonder if this will result in the Vikings finally getting Justin Jefferson going in goal-line situations. Thus far, he hasn’t been great in that part of the field.   more »

Vikings WR Jefferson disappears in playoff loss

Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver JUSTIN JEFFERSON led the NFL in catches (128) and yards (1,809) this season, but he was nowhere to be found in Sunday’s playoff loss to theMore New York Giants. The third-year receiver started his first playoff game hot with 5 catches for 37 yards on 5 targets in the first quarter. Unfortunately for the Vikings and his fantasy owners, Jefferson finished the game with just seven catches on nine targets and totaled just 10 receiving yards in the final three quarters. Jefferson, inexplicably, was not targeted at any point in the fourth quarter. Less

Vikings WR Jefferson has career day

Minnesota Vikings star wide receiver JUSTIN JEFFERSON finished Sunday’s comeback win against the Buffalo Bills with a career-best 193 yards on 10 catches, adding a touchdown on behalf of his teamMore and his fantasy owners. Jefferson had perhaps the catch of the year, making a one-handed, 32-yard grab on fourth-and-18 on Minnesota’s final drive of regulation. While Jefferson didn’t get any extra fantasy points for the catch, it was impressive, nonetheless. Less
