After his first practice with new Baltimore offensive coordinator Todd Monken, veteran quarterback LAMAR JACKSON said he was extremely pleased with the direction of the new scheme, adding that he believesMore a philosophy change was needed to be successful going forward. Lamar Jackson, Ravens finally agree to five-year extension

Star Baltimore quarterback LAMAR JACKSON and the Ravens have agreed in principle to a five-year contract extension. Negotiations have been ongoing for about two years, with the breakthrough finally coming onMore the first day of the 2023 NFL Draft. Jackson reportedly is now the highest-paid player in NFL history. His deal is supposedly worth $260 million, for an average of $52 million per year. It tops the extension recently signed by Philadelphia Eagles quarterback JALEN HURTS. As part of the deal, Jackson will receive $185 million in total guarantees, which is $6 million more than Hurts received. Less

I was surprised when the Ravens signed Odell Beckham to a one-year contract worth $15 million guaranteed, with another $3 million available in incentives. Seems like a lot for a 30-year-old receiver who’s torn his ACL twice in the last three years. But I am warming up to the move.   more »
