Jets RB Carter in concussion protocol

New York Jets running back MICHAEL CARTER suffered a concussion in Sunday’s game and head coach Robert Saleh confirmed on Monday that his rookie rusher is in the NFL’s concussion protocol.More Saleh added that the team is hopeful that Carter can play this week in the regular season finale against the Buffalo Bills. Jets RB Carter to miss time with ankle sprain

New York Jets rookie running back MICHAEL CARTER is expected to miss a few games after spraining his ankle against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Carter’s injury is reportedly a “veryMore mild high-ankle sprain”, according to head coach Robert Saleh. Factoid: Jets running backs

There's been optimism about Jets fourth-round running back Michael Carter, and in some respects it's warranted; he's apparently shown well in camp. But it also seems very possible he'll be stuck in a messy committee this season, with Ty Johnson and Tevin Coleman; maybe even LaMical Perine. That's something that should give you pause before selecting Carter in drafts.   more »

I am intrigued by the Jets. With the way their team is coming together, I think there will be some good running back games there. There will be at least some weeks where there are running backs on that roster who dramatically outperform where they’re selected in fantasy drafts.  more »

Jets RB Coleman healthy and ready to roll in 2021

New York Jets running back TEVIN COLEMAN says he is fully healthy after an injury-ravaged 2020 campaign in San Francisco. Coleman added that he’s feeling good and that he has “gotMore a lot in my tank” and is ready to prove himself this season. Coleman will compete for a role in the Jets backfield along with fellow running backs LA’MICAL PERINE, TY JOHNSON, JOSH ADAMS, and rookie MICHAEL CARTER. The NFL combine isn't being held this year, so the only look that teams are getting at players is individual pro days. North Carolina's was yesterday, and there should be at least a couple of relevant fantasy players drafted from there.
