Bucs WRs Evans, Godwin limited in Thursday practice

Tampa Bay wide receivers MIKE EVANS and CHRIS GODWIN both returned to a limited practice on Thursday and appear to be on track to play in Sunday’s game against the GreenMore Bay Packers. Evans reportedly still has some soreness in his ankle, but he is expected to play through the issue on Sunday. Meanwhile, Godwin is working his way back from a hamstring injury. Less

The Tampa Bay Bucs will be without wide receivers CHRIS GODWIN and JUSTIN WATSON, along with running back LESEAN MCCOY for tonight’s game against the Chicago Bears. Running back LEONARD FOURNETTEMore is listed as doubtful. Bucs offense depleted by injury

The Tampa Bay Bucs did not practice on Monday, but the estimated practice report indicated that wide receivers MIKE EVANS (ankle), CHRIS GODWIN (hamstring), SCOTTY MILLER (hip/groin), and JUSTIN WATSON (chest)More all would have been non-participants. In addition to the wideouts, running backs LEONARD FOURNETTE (ankle) and LESEAN MCCOY (ankle) were in no better shape. The depleted Bucs play on Thursday night this week against the Chicago Bears. Bucs to get WR Evans more involved

Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians was not happy with wide receiver MIKE EVANS’ limited role in Sunday’s season opening loss to the New Orleans Saints. Evans was dealing with aMore hamstring injury coming into the game, although Arians said he was at “full speed” in the game.
