Ryan leads Falcons in season-finale

Atlanta quarterback MATT RYAN concluded a nice season on Sunday with 378 passing yards and 2 touchdown passes against the Tampa Bay Bucs. Perhaps even more impressive was the fact that Ryan caught his first NFL pass, a five-yard touchdown from wide receiver MOHAMED SANU.

Julio Jones skips minicamp

Atlanta wide receiver JULIO JONES is skipping the team’s June minicamp in the wake of a looming contract discussion. While everyone eventually expects Jones to rejoin the team, it looks like wide receivers MOHAMED SANU and CALVIN RIDLEY will get some extra work at camp.

Most will agree that Julio Jones is the top receiver playing in Super Bowl LI, and the safest bet for the No. 2 is Julian Edelman. Julio Jones ruled out vs. 49ers

Atlanta Falcons receiver JULIO JONES has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the San Francisco 49ers because of a toe injury that kept him out of practice all week. Ryan does just fine without his starting receivers

Fantasy owners might have expected Atlanta quarterback MATT RYAN to struggle on Sunday without his top two receivers, JULIO JONES (turf toe) and MOHAMED SANU (groin), but he did just fine without them. Ryan threw 3 touchdown passes with no interceptions and fantasy owners that trusted him were rewarded.
