Around the NFL: Cleveland running backs
Last week's story noting that Deshaun Watson would be suspended for 6 games this season was, needless to say, optimistic. The league appealed, the appeal will be heard by a judge appointed by Roger Goodell, and it's a lot more likely the suspension winds up being 10-12 games, if not an entire season. Should be Jacoby Brissett starting a majority of games. more »

Around the NFL: Kareem Hunt
I've got mixed feelings about Kareem Hunt. On the one hand, he's proved to be one of the game's most capable, productive running backs throughout his career. On the other hand, he seems content to spend that career as part of a committee. more »

Browns place RB Chubb on Covid-19 Reserve list
The Cleveland Browns backfield will be questionable for Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. Running backs NICK CHUBB and DEMETRIC FELTON tested positive for Covid-19 on Tuesday, and backup running… More back JOHN KELLY was placed on the same list on Monday. With KAREEM HUNT still on injured reserve, D’ERNEST JOHNSON is the only healthy running back on the roster. Chubb and Felton are reportedly both vaccinated, so they still have a chance to play this weekend. Stay tuned, fantasy owners. Less
