Dynasty Leagues: Long-term RB rankings

It can be debated whether Leonard Fournette or Rachaad White will be better for the duration of the season. Fournette has more experience, while White just started ahead of him for first time last week. I consider them to be a one-two punch (and while White ran for over 100 yards in Munich, I thought Fournette was the more impressive of the two in that game).   more »

I think there’s a tendency to overrate rookie running backs selected in the middle rounds. A team drafts a guy like Isaiah Spiller, Rachaad White or Zamir White, and many tend to kind of assume those guys will be the backup running back – an injury away from relevance.   more »

It’s looking like Leonard Fournette will be showing up at camp well over his optimal playing weight, and that should have everyone putting more thought into using later-round picks on Rachaad White and KeShawn Vaughn. Most likely one of those guys will be starting some games.   more »


Around the NFL: Running backs, at last

No running backs were selected in Round 1 of the NFL Draft, which wasn't a huge surprise. Some thought 1-2 might slip in late in the round, but it wasn't to be. But those backs -- Iowa State's Breece Hall, Michigan State's Kenneth Walker -- did go in last night's second round, and four more were gone by the end of Day 2.   more »
