I haven’t yet seen contract information for Wayne Gallman, but it will be interesting to see what the 49ers are paying him. To me, he looks for now like the possible No. 1 back on that roster.  more »

San Francisco 49ers running backs RAHEEM MOSTERT and JEFF WILSON have been activated from the injured reserve list and cleared to practice with the team. Mostert is the team’s leading rusherMore despite missing the past four games with a high ankle sprain and two earlier games with a knee injury. 49ers running backs to miss time

While a more detailed injury report should be forthcoming, 49ers head coachMore Kyle Shanahan ruled Mostert out for the Week #3 game against the New York Giants due to an MCL/knee sprain. 49ers hit hard by injuries in win vs. Jets

The San Francisco 49ers notched a blowout win on Sunday against the New York Jets, but the victory came at a high cost. 49ers defensive end NICK BOSA and defensive tackleMore SOLOMON THOMAS were both carted off the field just two plays apart. The team fears that Bosa suffered a possible season-ending ACL injury. Quarterback JIMMY GAROPPOLO also left the game with what is believed to be a high-ankle sprain.
