Factoid: Mike Evans

It’s early. No reason to draw overreaching conclusions yet. But I’m thinking Mike Evans won’t be as dominant around the end zone this season.  more »

Andy Richardson: Thursday Night Recap

Now THAT is the way to kick off an NFL season. It was pretty clear from the git-go that defense wasn't going to be a staple of this game. It's a reminder that while the Bucs have an elite fantasy defense and Tampa Bay just won a Super Bowl, this was still a bottom-10 pass defense, that lost a key defensive back early on. There will be offense on both sides in their games. Let's get to it.   more »

Brady leads Bucs with 4 touchdowns on opening night

Tampa Bay quarterback TOM BRADY picked up where he left off last season, looking like his old self while throwing 4 touchdown passes in Thursday night’s season opening win over theMore Dallas Cowboys. Fantasy owners may recall that Brady threw 2 touchdowns to tight end ROB GRONKOWSKI back in Super Bowl LV, and he duplicated that feat with 2 touchdown passes to Gronk on Thursday night. Less

Sky is the limit for Bucs TE Howard

Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians said this week that “the sky’s the limit” for tight end O.J. HOWARD heading into the 2021 season. After the addition of fellow tight endMore ROB GRONKOWSKI last year, Howard thrived in two tight end sets to start the season. Unfortunately for the Bucs and his fantasy owners, Howard suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in the fourth game of the season. Arians confirmed that Howard’s recovery is going well and that he should be available to participate in offseason field work soon. Less

Bucs TE Gronkowski looking like old self

Around the NFL: Bucs tight ends

It's a tricky business, deciding how to rank and draft Tampa Bay tight ends. They've got three really capable players at the position, a new veteran quarterback who might have his own preferences, and a coach with a sketchy recent history of using those players in his offense.   more »

Bucs sign veteran RB McCoy

The Tampa Bay Bucs signed veteran running back LESEAN MCCOY to a one-year contract on Thursday. McCoy had minimal success last year with Kansas City, and his usage declined as theMore season went on. In the postseason, McCoy never touched the ball. With an offense that has already brought in veterans TOM BRADY and ROB GRONKOWSKI, the Bucs have now added another veteran with a Pro Bowl pedigree.
