Seahawks sign edge rusher Smith to one-year deal

After speculation and rumors surfaced on Wednesday, the Seattle Seahawks announced on Thursday that they had signed former All-Pro defensive end ALDON SMITH to a one-year contract. Smith spent the 2020More season with the Dallas Cowboys after being reinstated from a four-year suspension for various substance abuse related issues. With rumors swirling about the possible addition of DESHAUN WATSON or RUSSELL WILSON in Chicago, reality settled in this week with the Bears signing veteran quarterback ANDY DALTON to a one-yearMore contract. Dalton is now expected to be the starting quarterback in Chicago, with NICK FOLES as the backup.
