Montgomery hoping to play despite broken ribs

Green Bay running back TY MONTGOMERY thinks there is a chance he could play a little more than a week after he sustained multiple broken ribs against the Chicago Bears. Montgomery and the Packers’ medical staff are expected to explore ways to protect his ribs throughout the week. Stay tuned.

Montgomery suffers broken ribs on Thursday night

Green Bay running back TY MONTGOMERY suffered broken ribs during the Packers first possession in Thursday night’s game against Chicago. There is no immediate timetable for how much time Montgomery will miss but we will monitor the situation and update fantasy owners accordingly.

Green Bay running back TY MONTGOMERY has been out with a “soft tissue” injury that has allowed rookie JAMAAL WILLIAMS to get some additional practice time.
