New York Jets quarterback ZACH WILSON struggled again in Sunday’s loss to the New England Patriots, but head coach Robert Saleh said afterward that his young signal caller is “fine”. Jets offense struggles vs. Cowboys

Fantasy owners had great expectations for the New York Jets offense heading into the 2023 NFL season. Unfortunately, things look very different with ZACH WILSON at the helm than they wereMore expected to look with AARON RODGERS at the controls. Wilson was just 12 of 27 for 170 yards and three interceptions in Sunday’s loss to the Dallas Cowboys. The Jets managed just one big play in the game, a 68-yard touchdown from Wilson to wide receiver GARRETT WILSON. The running game struggled as well, with DALVIN COOK and BREECE HALL both failing to do much on behalf of their fantasy owners. Less

Aw, crap. What else to say? We’re not going to get 17 games of rejuvenated Aaron Rodgers. We’re getting instead Zach Wilson. And that makes Garrett Wilson look a lot more like Clark Kent than Superman.   more »

Factoid: No. 2 pick quarterbacks

Watching the Jets-Browns game last night, I tried to see the good in Zach Wilson. He made a nice deep throw to Malik Taylor that went for 57 yards; that was encouraging. But he also fell down without being touched on a 3rd-and-2 scramble that went for a sack; that's the lowlight. The question is, is there hope for the youngster?  more »

Around the NFL: Elijah Moore

There’s the weird deal with Aaron Rodgers where he likes to play with his buddies. When the Jets traded for Rodgers, it also involved signing Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb. And I think that’s going to come back to bite them.   more »

Factoid: Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers popped up on my YouTube feed yesterday. (The programmers there, apparently, have figured out what I like to watch.) And seeing his highlight cut-ups, it becomes clear that his play has definitely slipped some.   more »
