Wilson suffered a meniscus tear and a bone bruise after aMore non-contact injury last Friday night against the Philadelphia Eagles. Jets QB Wilson avoids season-ending injury

The New York Jets got some good news when an MRI over the weekend revealed that starting quarterback ZACH WILSON’s knee injury is not as serious as initially feared. Wilson reportedlyMore has a bone bruise and a meniscus tear, with the expectation being that he will miss only 2-4 weeks. Given the timetable, it is possible that Wilson may not miss any regular season games. If Wilson does have to miss the start of the season, he will likely be replaced by veteran backup quarterback JOE FLACCO. Less

Wilson has missed the past four games with a posterior cruciateMore ligament injury in his right knee but he has been medically cleared to play and is good to go. The timing is ideal for the Jets, who placed backup quarterbacks JOE FLACCO and MIKE WHITE on the Covid-19 reserve list on Tuesday. White era hits bump in the road in New York
