Washington Football Team head coach Ron Rivera said Thursday that he is “very confident” that wide receiver CURTIS SAMUEL will be available for the season opener against the Los Angeles Chargers.… More Samuel has been mostly sidelined throughout the preseason with a groin injury. The Washington Football team placed wide receiver CURTIS SAMUEL on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list this week. Samuel, 24, also missed all of June’s minicamp and OTA’s with a… More lingering groin injury. With training camps opening, a lot of players are starting out on either COVID or PUP lists. The season is six weeks away so it's not a big deal in most cases. Football Team signs WR Samuel
The Washington Football Team signed speedy wide receiver CURTIS SAMUEL to a three-year deal on Wednesday. Samuel, 24, has elite speed that should pair nicely with top wideout TERRY MCLAURIN to help unlock offensive coordinator Scott Turner’s vertical attack. Samuel and McLaurin were also teammates in college at Ohio State.
