Football Team signs WR Samuel

The Washington Football Team signed speedy wide receiver CURTIS SAMUEL to a three-year deal on Wednesday. Samuel, 24, has elite speed that should pair nicely with top wideout TERRY MCLAURIN to help unlock offensive coordinator Scott Turner’s vertical attack. Samuel and McLaurin were also teammates in college at Ohio State.

Panthers WR has heart procedure

Carolina Panthers wide receiver CURTIS SAMUEL had a “small” procedure to fix an irregular heartbeat and will miss the season opener this Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys. While Samuel is technically having heart surgery, the outpatient procedure is considered minor and this is not expected to be a long-term issue.
