No surgery for Seahawks WR Metcalf, but no timeline for return either

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said on Monday that the team is unsure how long wide receiver DK METCALF will be sidelined, or if he will even be sidelined atMore all. Carroll did confirm that Metcalf will not need surgery to deal with the knee injury suffered on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Carroll said that Metcalf was “pretty sore”, adding that the team would need to see how he responds to treatment and “we’ll see what happens”. Stay tuned, fantasy owners. Less

Carroll optimistic about WR Metcalf

The eternally optimistic Pete Carroll is, you guessed it, optimistic that the Seahawks and star wide receiver DK METCALF will ultimately agree on a new contract heading into the upcoming season.More Carroll did acknowledge however, that the team was caught off-guard by Metcalf’s decision to skip this week’s mandatory minicamp.
