Factoid: Kyle Pitts

The cast around Kyle Pitts worries me. The Falcons look like they might be the worst team in the league, and that could make it tough for him to finish with good numbers. Around the NFL: Marcus Mariota

There'd been a report recently suggesting third-rounder Desmond Ridder would start for the Falcons, but maybe that was overly optimistic. Factoid: Kyle Pitts

When you have a standout rookie tight end, like Kyle Pitts (or to a lesser degree, Pat Freiermuth), the assumption is to think they’ll come back and light things up in their second season. They have a better command of the offense, as well as a better idea of what defenses are trying to do. But it doesn’t play out that way as often as you would think.  more »

Falcons sign TE Firkser to one-year deal

The Atlanta Falcons announced this week that the team has signed tight end ANTHONY FIRKSER to a one-year contract. Firkser spent the past four seasons with the Tennessee Titans, where heMore played with new Falcons quarterback MARCUS MARIOTA. While it’s nice that the duo will have a level of familiarity, fantasy owners need look no further than second-year tight end KYLE PITTS in the Falcons TE room. Less
