Dolphins add veteran tight end

The Miami Dolphins signed veteran tight end DWAYNE ALLEN over the weekend. While Allen does have 20 career touchdowns, his greatest strength is blocking. The Dolphins also have second-year tight end MIKE GESICKI on the roster, but he is coming off a disappointing rookie season.

Most offseason reports about Dolphins second-round tight end Mike Gesicki have been unfavorable. "Looks lost" was one from earlier this summer. This week, he's been reportedly working with deep reserves, at times even behind fourth-round tight end Durham Smythe. Disappointing, but not a surprise.   more »
