Factoid: Hidden gems

Marvin Harrison might be the first non-quarterback drafted, and two other wide receivers could be selected in the top 10. But if form holds, there will also be a couple of notable receivers who are selected in the later rounds.   more »

Factoid: Stefon Diggs

What version of Stefon Diggs are the Texans getting? He’s been a top-10 receiver for most of the last four years. But in the second half of last season, not so much.  more »

Around the NFL: Bills trade Diggs

The Bills have traded Stefon Diggs, and they didn’t get all that much for him. They’re sending him to Houston, in exchange for a 2025 second round pick. As part of the deal, the Texans also receive a sixth-round pick in the upcoming draft, as well as a fifth-rounder next year.  more »

Factoid: Divisional Round

For this weekend, I will go with Nico Collins over Stefon Diggs. Diggs is more experienced and playing at home, but Collins is playing better right now, and I prefer the matchup.   more »

Factoid: Nico Collins

Nico Collins (calf) is practicing, and I’d be inclined to use him. The Browns have the league’s No. 1 pass defense, but they haven’t been nearly as good on the road.   more »

Around the NFL: Sunday Recap and Takeaways

Another week of football is in the books, with a collection of awesome games despite having six teams on bye. I didn’t have Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, or Deebo Samuel on any of my teams, but I dodged a bullet by not going against them as well. I heard the “Tush Push” called a new name this weekend: “The Love Shove” as deemed by Mike Tirico, as he called the Green Bay game.  more »

Head coach Demeco Ryans spoke optimistically about Collins andMore the Texans’ receiving corps recently, and Collins has reportedly developed chemistry with Stroud throughout the spring and summer. While veteran wideout ROBERT WOODS is expected to have a role, Collins has showcased big-play ability this offseason and will certainly be on the fantasy radar in the months ahead. Less

Factoid: Receiving corps

It’s a passing league, with the ability to move the ball through the air more important than ever. With that in mind, there are some pretty scary receiving corps around the league – teams that just painfully short in terms of adequate pass catchers.  more »

Factoid: Nico Collins

It’s reasonable to bat around the potential of Nico Collins, I think. His first-year numbers, after all, are pretty similarly to what we saw in previous years out of Davante Adams, Kenny Golladay, Corey Davis and Mike Wallace.   more »

Around the NFL: Josh Palmer

Mike Williams is headed for free agency, and while it's possible he'll return -- working with Justin Herbert last year went well for him -- he might also get bigger offers to leave town. There are several in-house candidates to fill that void, most notably Josh Palmer.   more »

Around the NFL: Nico Collins

Story over the weekend speculating that Texans third-rounder Nico Collins will make an early impact. On his behalf, Houston doesn't have much else behind Brandin Cooks at wide receiver, just Collins and Chris Conley (the team cut Keke Coutee). On the other hand, this is the Texans after all.   more »
