Bucs’ cannons silenced for Super Bowl

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are the first team to play a Super Bowl in their own stadium, but they will not have all the comforts of home. The NFL, to maintainMore the integrity of the Super Bowl being a neutral site game, will not allow the Bucs to fire their stadium cannons at will during the game. Dolphins Sunday game won’t be in Miami

Due to the looming threat of Hurricane Irma, the NFL announced late Tuesday that Sunday’s scheduled game between Miami and Tampa Bay will not be played in Miami. The league is considering either playing the game at a neutral site or playing the game later in the season in Miami.

Jameis Winston has had the hot hand recently, but I would be leery of starting him on Sunday against Seattle. The Seahawks will be missing half of their starting secondary (Earl Thomas, DeShawn Shead) but that’s just a really tough even. It’s a unit that remarkably has been even better on the road.   more »
