Saints RB Kamara indicted by grand jury

New Orleans Saints running back ALVIN KAMARA has been indicted by a grand jury in Nevada for his role in the alleged beating of a man in Las Vegas prior toMore the Pro Bowl in 2022. Kamara and three others were indicted on charges of conspiracy to commit battery and battery resulting in substantial bodily harm. Kamara has yet to face punishment from the Saints or the NFL since his arrest on February 6, 2022. The indictment sends the case to district court, and a court date has been set for March 2nd. Less

Kamara court date delayed again, trial set for 2023

After already being pushed back multiple times, the next court date for New Orleans running back ALVIN KAMARA has been pushed back once again. In addition to the delayed court date,More it is also noteworthy that the judge set a trial date for March 1st, 2023. The March trial date fits squarely into the offseason, meaning that any suspension this season remains unlikely. Saints RB Kamara dealing with rib issue

New Orleans Saints head coach Dennis Allen said that star running back ALVIN KAMARA was dealing with a “rib issue” in Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Falcons. The Saints were downMore 16 in the fourth quarter at Atlanta before coming back to win the game. The “rib issue” would explain why Kamara only had two touches during the fourth-quarter comeback. Allen added that he thought Kamara is “going to be fine”, but fantasy owners will want to monitor his status leading up to the Saints Week #2 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Less

As his case continues to be pushed back (it is not scheduledMore until September 29th) so is the likelihood that any suspension occurs this season. Any NFL discipline would likely wait until the case is resolved. Kamara is expected to eventually face at least a six-game suspension stemming from his alleged involvement in a Las Vegas fight back in February. Less
