Andy Richardson: First quarterback the best quarterback?
I'm on record thinking quarterbacks will go 1-2-3 in the draft; very confident at least three will go win the top 5 picks. Recent draft chatter has the Browns favoring Sam Darnold at No. 1 overall, and the Jets are surely taking one at No. 3; maybe the Giants (or some team they trade with) at No. 2. The question is, which one will turn out best? more »

Browns to name Haley as offensive coordinator
The Cleveland Browns are expected to name Todd Haley as their offensive coordinator. Haley is expected to be the first OC under head coach Hue Jackson, likely taking over play-calling duties… More as well. Haley was very successful with the Pittsburgh Steelers but the team did not bring him back for the 2018 season. Less

Factoid: Buffalo Bills
The San Francisco 49ers and Cleveland Browns are frequently mentioned as teams that can’t stop the run. And that’s fair; they’ve allowed more rushing yards than anybody. But there’s a third defense that’s pretty awful against the run right now. more »

Factoid: Mike Gillislee
I'm considering using Mike Gillislee in a playoff matchup this week. The Bills are at home against the Browns, who have one of the league's two worst run defenses. They're giving up 146 yards per game, with 14 rushing scores. more »

Factoid: Paul Perkins
So I've got a big playoff game coming up, and the matchups have me very hesitant to use Isaiah Crowell (vs. Giants) or Jeremy Hill (at Balt.). So I started wondering about the wisdom of using a No. 2 running back against Cleveland's crummy run defense. more »

RGIII could return this season
If you still have quarterback ROBERT GRIFFIN III stashed away at the end of your bench, you may want to hang on to him just a little longer. Cleveland Browns Executive… More VP of Football Operations Sashi Brown says that despite his durability issues, RGIII will have an opportunity to play again this year. Less
