Corey Davis has mostly been a disappointment as a pro – a top-5 overall pick who hasn’t had a 900-yard season. But he’s putting together a nice “contract year” as he heads towards free agency in the spring. more »

The Tennessee Titans put wide receiver COREY DAVIS on the PUP list for the start of training camp. The 25-year-old is entering his fourth season in the NFL and is in a contract year after the Titans declined his fifth-year option. Around the NFL: Corey Davis
Corey Davis is opening training camp on the PUP list. This should only increase the demand for A.J. Brown, who looked pretty special as a rookie. Brown is one of those second-year pass catchers who could be ready to emerge as a true superstar. more »

Around the NFL: 5th-year options
Today’s the deadline for teams to pick up the fifth-year option on the contracts of players drafted in the first round in 2017, and some notable names are getting left out. Factoid: Corey Davis
Thinking about the Titans versus Jaguars game, I wondered how favorably to slot Corey Davis. On the one hand, he's Tennessee's No. 1, and the team's only consistently involved wide receiver. On the other hand, he's facing a defense that tends to play really well against wide receivers. more »

Fantasy News: Receiving inside the 10
Touchdowns are more likely to be scored inside the 10-yard line, so it makes sense to pay attention to what offenses are trying to do in that part of the field. Around the NFL: Titans release Matthews
The Titans are releasing Rishard Matthews. He was upset with his playing time and his role in the offense. I don’t know how much he’s got left, but I will be interested to see if he lands in a more favorable situation. more »

Around the NFL: Corey Davis
Corey Davis was the first wide receiver drafted a year ago, selected by the Titans at No. 5 overall. He had a disappointing rookie season, albeit finishing with a 2-TD playoff game. Will 2018 be a breakout season? more »

Titans expecting big leap from WR Davis
The Tennessee Titans are expecting wide receiver COREY DAVIS to make a big jump heading into his second season in the NFL. Davis, the fifth overall pick in 2017, ended last… More season strong after dealing with a hamstring injury early in the season. Davis has reportedly looked smooth during offseason workouts. Less

Factoid: Sophomore receivers
At what point do we give up on a player? Or at least start to sour on them? Corey Davis, Mike Williams and John Ross were all big disappointments as rookies. Do any of these guys have a chance to turn things around? more »

Factoid: Underrated Rishard Matthews
If you want to try look under the radar, I kind of like Rishard Matthews. Every year he tends to be lightly regarded as a former seventh-round pick, and every year he effectively does his job. more »
