Titans activate WR Davis from PUP list

Tennessee Titans wide receiver COREY DAVIS passed his physical and was removed from the PUP list on Monday. Davis was first placed on the list on July 28th after undergoing offseasonMore toe surgery. Titans place WR Davis on PUP list

The Tennessee Titans put wide receiver COREY DAVIS on the PUP list for the start of training camp. Davis reportedly had offseason toe surgery, although he appears to be on trackMore to be ready for the start of the upcoming season. The 25-year-old is entering his fourth season in the NFL and is in a contract year after the Titans declined his fifth-year option. Thinking about the Titans versus Jaguars game, I wondered how favorably to slot Corey Davis. On the one hand, he's Tennessee's No. 1, and the team's only consistently involved wide receiver. On the other hand, he's facing a defense that tends to play really well against wide receivers.   more »

Fantasy News: Receiving inside the 10

Touchdowns are more likely to be scored inside the 10-yard line, so it makes sense to pay attention to what offenses are trying to do in that part of the field. When a player is seeing lots of looks in that part of the field, it’s more likely that he’ll score in future games – particularly in weeks where his offense projects to be getting it around the goal line often.   more »

If you want to try look under the radar, I kind of like Rishard Matthews. Every year he tends to be lightly regarded as a former seventh-round pick, and every year he effectively does his job.   more »
