Dolphins Release Raheem Mostert, Kendall Fuller, Durham Smythe

The Miami Dolphins have announced the release of running back Raheem Mostert, cornerback Kendall Fuller, and tight end Durham Smythe.

Two seasons ago, Mostert was a 1,000-yard rusher, finishing with 1,012 yards and a league-leading 18 touchdowns. Those numbers earned Mostert his lone Pro Bowl selection. However, his performance took a nosedive last season. While he still played 13 games, he only started one game and finished with 278 rushing and 161 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Fuller played 11 games in what turned out to be his lone season with the Dolphins. He finished the year with 11 passes defended and 50 tackles. Fuller was a part of the Kansas City Chiefs team that won Super Bowl LIV. He also had two stints for the Washington franchise before joining the Dolphins.

Finally, the Dolphins selected Smythe in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He has 132 receptions for 1,228 yards and three touchdowns in seven seasons with the Dolphins.
