I don’t think I’ll be drafting DeVonta Smith, JaMarr Chase or Jaylen Waddle. They’re decent-enough prospects, but with heralded rookie receivers, they tend to get so overhyped that it’s hard for them to meet expectations.  more »

Burrow, Chase picking up where they left off

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback JOE BURROW and rookie wide receiver JAMARR CHASE were a record-setting duo in college at LSU. Heading into their first NFL season as teammates, Cincinnati offensive coordinator BrianMore Callahan said of the duo that “you can tell they’ve played together”. Callahan added that Burrow and Chase have a good rapport that can be seen in OTAs and minicamp. Less

Saw a tweet from Adam Schefter today about Louisiana State wideouts. JaMarr Chase (pictured) will definitely be a first-round pick in next month's draft -- possibly No. 6 overall to Miami -- and Terrace Marshall will probably be drafted in either the first or second round. It continues a nice run of respect for LSU players at the position.   more »
