Lions WR Williams out for remainder of preseason
Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell said the hamstring injury that wide receiver JAMESON WILLIAMS suffered during Wednesday’s practice will keep the young wideout sidelined for the remainder of the preseason.… More With Williams set to serve a six-game suspension to start the season, Lions fans and fantasy owners will not see him on the field again until Week #7 of the regular season. Campbell also said that fellow wide receiver AMON-RA ST. BROWN, who was also injured in Wednesday’s practice, should be able to return to the practice field sometime next week before the final preseason game against the Carolina Panthers. Less

Lions WRs St. Brown, Willams leave practice with leg issues
Detroit Lions wide receivers AMON-RA ST. BROWN and JAMESON WILLIAMS were both injured during Wednesday’s joint practice with the Jacksonville Jaguars, and both did not return to action. St. Brown injured… More his right ankle but was able to jog around after it was taped, seemingly not too bothered by the injury. Williams pulled up on a deep route and grabbed the back of his leg. Lions RT Sewell out with concussion, WR Williams returns
Detroit Lions right tackle PENEI SEWELL is in the concussion protocol and likely will not return to practice until at least Wednesday under the NFL’s concussion guidelines. Head coach Dan Campbell… More said that Sewell is “doing good”, adding that the team is “just trying to be safe”. Sewell is coming off a Pro Bowl season and, entering his third year in the NFL, is already considered one of the games top right tackles.
