Around the NFL: Cordarrelle Patterson

A while back I published something skeptical about Jaylen Warren, concerned that he wouldn't get enough weekly touches while splitting time with Najee Harris. Looks like Pittsburgh might be going one step further in complicating this backfield, having now signed Cordarrelle Patterson.   more »

Factoid: Jaylen Warren

I have Jaylen Warren in a dynasty league. I'd like to trade him. Good player -- arguably the better of Pittsburgh's two running backs -- but it doesn't look like this committee will go away anytime soon.   more »

Factoid: Ground and pound

Here we go again? The Steelers had the most improved running game in the league last year, averaging 51 more yards in the second half of the season, and with 3 times as many touchdowns. So with them rushing for 166 and 205 yards in their last two games, I can’t help but wonder if they’re going to do it again.   more »

No RB controversy in Pittsburgh, Harris the #1

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Matt Canada squashed any potential controversy about the team’s backfield room on Monday, saying that “Najee is our 1”. Despite running back JAYLEN WARREN’s big game andMore solid preseason, NAJEE HARRIS will remain the starting running back for the Steelers heading into the upcoming season. Fantasy owners should note, however, that Harris and Warren split reps down the stretch last season and will likely do so again this season. Less

Around the NFL: Najee Harris

Najee Harris has generally been a disappointment this season, but he's at least played his best ball the last two weeks. He has a tough matchup this week, at Indianapolis, but I think he'll keep things going.   more »
